The Mercer Winemaker Dinner with Bodega Catena Zapata

We are very excited about launching our winemaker dinners at The Mercer.

The first in the series will introduce you to the incredible wines of Nicolas Catena presented by the charming assistant-winemaker Mariela Molinari. Each wine is matched with a dish of great Mercer food from head chef Warren Lee.

Bodega Catena Zapata has high elevation vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina producing world-class wines. The Catena Zapata family has been making wine for 4 generations. The third generation, led by Nicolas Catena, changed the direction of the winemaking and winery to focus on producing premium wines.

Dr Nicolas Catena is Decanter man of the year 2009 for his outstanding and pioneering vision for Argentine wine in particular.
